2005 Academy Awards (USA)
Johnny Depp received a nomination for Best Actor but was beaten out by Jamie Foxx, and Finding Neverland was nominated for Best Picture but lost to Million Dollar Baby. The movie's other nominations were for Art Direction, Costume Design, Editing, and Adapted Screenplay. Kate Winslet also received a nomination for Best Actress, but it was for her work in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

aka the Saturn Awards. Nominated for Best Actor (Johnny Depp) and Best Performance by a Younger Actor (Freddie Highmore). The awards were given out on May 3, 2005.

Gemma Jackson received a nomination for the award for Excellence in Production Design in a Feature Film - Period or Fantasy Film.
2005 British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (UK)
Finding Neverland was nominated for Best Picture. Members of its crew received nominations in several categories: Music, Cinematography, Costume Design, Hair and Makeup, Production Design, Screenplay, and Directing. Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp also each received a nomination for lead acting while Julie Christie received a supporting actress nod. Unfortunately, they were all shut out!

Finding Neverland's ensemble cast received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture while Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore received nominations for Leading and Supporting Actor, respectively.

The film received a nomination for Best Film. Its younger stars also received a few acting nominations: Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actor (Freddie Highmore), Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actor Age Ten or Younger (Luke Spill), and Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast (Freddie Highmore, Joe Prospero, Nick Roud, Luke Spill).
