"How?"

"By believing, Peter. Just believe."

The Finding Neverland movie fanlisting

Site info: The site

The fanlisting was adopted from Meaghan in late August 2006 and it was opened on September 8th, 2006.

My name is Essi and I'm the owner of this fanlisting. To make an incredibly long and boring story short, I'm a 22-year-old girl from Finland. I've been designing websites for over seven years and it's a very dear hobby of mine.

I'm currently in my third year of school at a Finnish university of applied sciences. I'm working towards a B.A. in Media Communications. My major is New Media, which basically includes everything from web design, to writing and media culture. In the future, I'd like to work in the field of media, hopefully combining my interest in journalism, movies, pop culture and/or web design.

I'm a huge admirer of Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Benicio Del Toro, Robert Downey Jr., Sam Rockwell, Hugh Laurie, Daniel Craig, Charlie Chaplin and Conan O'Brien. I love movies, House (the TV series), British comedy shows, London, travelling, Garfield and cats.

I love Finding Neverland because…

The movie is absolutely breathtaking, enchanting, wonderful, magical, sincere, beautiful, fascinating, funny and touching. If there is such thing as "perfect", this movie isn't far from it. I love Peter Pan and I think the movie truly captures J.M. Barrie's imagination that created Neverland.

The fantasy sequences are stunning and they fit very well into the inspirational story. I'm also in awe by the great talent of the entire cast: Depp, Winslet, Christie, Mitchell, Hoffman and Highmore (and others) do a fantastic job! Depp and Winslet also happen to be my very favourite actors. I don't only respect their work but also their integrity.

All in all, Finding Neverland is one of my favourite movies, I've seen it many times and I never get tired of it. No matter how cheesy this may sound, but in a world where so many people have seemed to lose their capability to dream, movies like Finding Neverland are so desperately needed to dazzle our sense of wonder and once more help us find that little spark of belief buried deep into our hearts.
